The perfect place to admire the great Andean bird, the Condor, flying in circles above the Colca Canyon and also ideal for Adventure Sports.Arequipa, Peru's second largest City is located 1024 km (640 miles) South of Lima. It was founded in 1540 and is one of the country's most attractive cities. Full of Colonial churches and mansions, including Santa Catalina, a restored Convents established in 1579 and now open to the public after being closed for 400 years, Arequipa is known as the White City because much of it is build of ashier, the smooth white building stone quarried from volcanic lava quarries. Arequipa's mild climate and altitude (2300 meter above sea level - 7500 ft.) make it the perfect place to acclimatise before continuing the trip to Cusco or Puno.

Itinerary

Day 01 : Arequipa / Cotahuasi
Very early at 05:00 a.m. pick up of participants from hotels by mean of private transport by the Pan-American highway, we will go all the group towards the Valley of Majes going through Corire and Aplao, natural beauty is appreciate until arriving to Chuquibamba, continuing soon towards Arma, a species of hosting where usually they offer fried trout, soon we go to round of Stream (6,117m. altitude) arrival to Cotahuasi.

Day 02 : Cotahuasi
Very early we left to cross the population of Cotahuasi(2,684 msnm) its narrow streets are paved and the houses all whitened take well evident the spanish influence .
The way continuous by the river, extensive branches scatter their aroma to 4 winds, soon we arrived at Tomepampa whose colonial church is remarkable, soon we will see a small hanging bridge on the Cotahuasi river leads to Visbe and Taurisma, following rural Way, (40 ms Cotahuasi) are arriving to ALCA and very near we get to the thermal baths of Luicho(2km.)

Day 03 : Cotahuasi
After the very early breakfast and by mean of common transport (nice horses)we will get to the gigantic cataracts of Sipia to 3 hours by horse, where the Cotahuasi river with its water volume fall from a height of 50m, giving origin to a permanent rainbow that form in steam clouds.

Day 04 : Cotahuasi / Arequipa
We will get ready to one hour opportune for the return to the white city, not without before happening through the enchanted castles of Majes where we will listen to the voice of the nymph Echo, mitológic and enigmatic stones petrorecorded from Toro Muerto. Arrival to Arequipa, transfer to your hotel.
