Mollepata-Salkantay-Inca Trail

Itinerary

FIRST DAY : CUSCO - MOLLEPATA – SORAYPAMAPA
We pick up clients 6:00 am of their respective lodgings and epart bus toward Mollepata small town located in a height of 2,850 m.s.n.m. warm temperate , we will be able to appreciate some snow mountains that belongs to the chain of the Salkantay they are to an approximate altitude from 4000 to 5000 m.s.n.m.
We will arrive approximately at 8:00 am o'clock in Mollepata where we will enjoy this beautiful landscape that is part of the snowy one of the Salkantay (6,200 m.s.n.m ) contemplating this landscape will begin our hike which will have an approximate duration from 7 to 8 hours likewise we will be accompanied by the vegetation belonging to forest brow, we stop for lunch, and after this we will continue until arriving to ICHUPAMPA, 3,700 mts place of our first camp.

SECOND DAY . ICHUPAMPA - CHALLHUAY
The dawn will be impressive since to the awakening the first thing that we will see will be the majestic Salkantay, being a.m. 7 o'clock we will prepare to enjoy our breakfast we will have about 7 to 8 approximate hours of hike
where we will contemplated with clarity the echo tone, and the difference among the floors latitudinales, to enter to the skirts of the Salkantay, after the three hours of walk will have the lunch,
After the Pass we will start our to descend and to contemplate the beginning of the forest, this day we will arrive to CHALLHUAY where we will camp .

THIRD DAY : CHALLHUAY – SAHUAYACO ( PLAYA)
It is beginning of a new day and of a new landscape new temperature the temperate climate characteristic of the beginning of forest brow begins since here. After the breakfast we will continue with the journey, today will be by means of valleys where we will be able to observe diverse birds, mammals, insects, and other animals that are of the place, will have the opportunity to observe the form of the resident's of the area life and to enjoy the thermal bathrooms (Collpampa), the waterfalls (Wiñaypoco), provided we have time.
After we will continue with our journey that will have an approximate duration from 4 to 6 hours before our lunch (Sahuayacu) and then to take our bus that took us to Santa Teresa where we will spend the night.


FOURTH DAY : SAHUAYACO – KM 122
To the awakening and to take our breakfast will continue with our walk for 40 approximate minutes until arriving to the banks of the river VILCANOTA, here we will have use of The Oroya. Our journey will be approximately of three hours with the address to the hydroelectric one where the valley of the river Urubamba is appreciated, the immense waterfall that emanates of the mountain of the Machupicchu, the part nor-this of the MACHUPICCHU will be the favorable place where we will have our .When concluding our visit we will wait the train that takes us to Aguas Calientes town where we will relax at a hostel.

FIFTH DAY : MACHUPICCU
Today is the great day we take the first bus at 5:30 am that will take us to historical sanctuary of MACHUPICCHU. There should be 6 to 7 hours available to spend
in this unique archaeological site, allowing ample opportunities to explore
on your own. Those not yet tired of heights might like to climb Huaynapicchu
for an unparalleled view of the lost city of the Incas. Alternatively it is
possible to visit the hot baths of Aguas Calientes. At the nearby town of
the same name we take the 3:00 or 3:50 pm. train for Cusco. This narrow gauge railway gives a scenic ride through the Urubamba valley. B.
